PROJECT DETAILS

PROJECT NAME : Capital Hill
PROJECT LOCATION : Moscow, Russia
PROJECT GROUP : HOME
PRODUCT BRANDS USED : FİBRO-MULTİFORM®

Capital Hill was Zaha Hadid’s only private home project. It was built for Vladislav Doronin outside the city of Moscow. It is a futuristic building with an unusual shape. More than 1.000 FİBROMULTİFORM ® panels dress its façades.

The house is situated at the north side of the Barvikha Forest where the pine and birch trees reach a height of 30 meters. The structure’s fluid geometry complements the natural topography. The massive house is composed of two main sections: The first section becomes a part of the inclined terrain but the second section, which is the private living area, is at a height of 22 meters and is separated from the rest of the building.

Groundbreaking Innovation

FİBRO-MULTİFORM® panels were chosen for this original and difficult project. This project won the first prize at the 16th GRC / GFRC World Congress.

Calculating the panel dimensions and the thickness of the cladding material were of crucial importance considering the snow weight on the building.

Thousands of square meters of the building shell were produced in Türkiye, transported to Moscow and assembled there. All of this was realized by intricate planning.

“FİBRO-MULTİFORM® achieved this difficult project with its original technology.”

We developed special moulds for each one of the 1.100 panels and determined 6 different anchorage points for each panel. Each panel can be dismantled and reassembled in case new sections should be added to the house.
