This project is situated in Montenegro’s Portonovi shore. It consists of a hotel, housing, a shopping mall, and landscaping to bring forth a living space. It is in a post-modern style which takes the city silhouette in consideration. This group of buildings is clad with FİBRODEKOR®. The designer’s concept was to place the buildings facing the sea view and harmonize with the city’s silhouette. The buildings’ sizes, their positioning on the land, and the colors were decided to be an extension of the regional architecture.

There are wide arches at the entrance floors like the architectural language of the surrounding buildings. FİBROBETON® panels fit the flexible design criteria in the archway parts in color and form.

Surfaces that Harmonize with the Surroundings

The entrance floors exhibit a classical architectural language; whereas, the upper floors have more modern lines. The building has three floors; the second floor is very plain but a line of columns surround the façade of the third floor.

The contradiction of architectural styles was balanced with accentuated mouldings and the special surface texture.

Fibrobeton® panels on steel frames were preferred as the façade material. The color harmony of the panels was very crucial. We also sanded the Fibrobeton® surface to obtain a richer texture. These details were in according with the surrounding architecture.

Design that Transcends the Standards

The system we used enables the façade layers or complex material combinations like sunscreens and arches to function without depending on the concrete structure. In this way, standard façade structures can be dynamically combined with façade details. Panels and their assembly can be produced and installed in a very short time. Joinery, insulation, drywall constructions were put in place and then clad with our GRC / GFRC panels, giving the whole façade a seamless look.
