The historic tobacco warehouse by the sea in Beşiktaş (European side) was restored and revived as the Shangri-La Hotel Bosphorus.
This is a Tanrıverdi Holding investment. It was restored and partly built by the “top down” technique which is rarely used in Türkiye. This means that building and restoration started at the top and moved downwards. Turgut Toydemir’s Piramit Architecture Urbanism and Engineering Office did all the restoration and architectural projects.
We produced the steel framed FİBROBETON® façade panels and FİBRODEKOR® decorative façade elements as the project necessitated.
We produced more than 1.900 FİBROBETON® panels in different sizes which were colored during production. They were not painted after installation.
“FİBROBETON® steel framed facade claddings and FİBRODEKOR® ornamental façade elements were designed and produced completely specifically for the project by being loyal to the architectural design.”
